you’re invited to a screening of

“Jupiter: The Giant Planet”

a short film about a planet a half billion miles from earth – whose flowing colors and spots are beautiful, but contain violent storms and jet streams (45 mins.)

This free event is co-sponsored by the Catskill Astronomy Club, with knowledgeable Club members present to answer questions and lead a viewing of Jupiter after the film. That night, Jupiter’s mysterious Great Red Spot should be visible. To learn more about the GRS (a huge anticylonic storm in the atmosphere) check out THIS!
