have your hiking items ready to transfer to another person’s car.

Sunday, (February 4th)   MARCH 4th!

1:00pm

Lisa from Morgan Outdoors and Cindy Taylor of the Delaware Highlands Conservancy will lead a Snowshoe Hike at The Forest Reserve at Smallwood, a 134-acre protected property in Bethel, New York. The 1-mile loop is on fairly even terrain, with gentle hills through white pines and along White Lake Brook.

Snowshoes are available for rental in advance from Morgan Outdoors.

If the ground is not snow-covered, the event will be a hike.

Dress warmly with appropriate waterproof footwear. Snowshoes will not be provided at the meeting location; participants must bring their own.

The hike is free and open to the public, but space is limited and prior registration is required.

Contact the Delaware Highlands Conservancy at 570-226-3164, 845-583-1010, or send an email to [email protected] to reserve your space and receive directions.

We’re looking forward to exploring this beautiful part of the area!
