Sunday, January 25th, 2015 Highlights:

(events are weather permitting)

12:00 – 1:00pm: Free Try Snowshoeing! by Morgan Outdoors. Sizes for all ages, a Find This Animal Track game

12:00 pm : Free Horse drawn Sleigh rides by Butch Peters

1:00 – 2:00pm: Skating exhibitions featuring nationally and regionally-ranked amateur figure skaters from the Skating Club of New York!!

Skating Races, Ice Sculptures, free Hot Dogs for kids are all described below.

6:45 PM Ice Carnival Dance 2015
• Held at LMCS School Gym
• 6:45PM – 9:45PM• Free to all students
• 9:15PM Crowning of the 2015 Ice Carnival King and Queen56th Annual Ice Carnival
 
Saturday, January 24th, 2015
 
9:00 AM: Annual Snow Sculpture Contest – Theme: “New York Landmarks” (Conditions Permitting)
• LMCS Classes in grades 9-12 and community organizations will participate.
• Snow sculptures will be constructed at Rotary Park on Pleasant Street in Livingston Manor. Hot Chocolate will be provided for participating students and advisors.

3:00 PM: Snow Sculpture Judging

• Prominent community VIPs will judge snow sculptures

Sunday, January 25th, 2015

12:00 Noon

• Try Snowshoeing! by Morgan Outdoors. Free. Sizes for all ages, play the Find This Animal Track game

• Horsedrawn Sleighride (conditions permitting)

• Race Registration at Rotary Park – Races for all age categories will take place after the skating exhibitions.

1:00 PM

• National Anthem

• Snow Sculpture Contest winners will be announced

• Traditional Parade of the 2015 Ice Carnival King & Queen and their court around the Walter Seeley Memorial Skating Rink

• Skating Exhibitions featuring nationally and regionally ranked amateur figure skaters from the New York Metropolitan Area

2:00 PM

• Skating Races – Races of all age categories will take place. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers of each race will receive Olympic style medals

• Presentation of trophies to male and female skater’s of the day.

3:00 PM

• Free Skating for all!

Starting at Noon free hot dogs and hot chocolate will be served to all the kids at the Rotary Dog House
