Views from NASA research aircraft, high-altitude balloons, satellites and telescopes plus live reports from major points along the path of totality<\/span> <\/strong>from Oregon to South Carolina.<\/p>\n

LOOKING UP<\/span><\/strong>: The partial eclipse reaches its maximum in the Catskills around 2:40 pm EST.<\/span><\/strong> We’ll head outside by 2:00pm to take it in with our own eyes (using filters.) Bring a lawn chair or blanket.<\/p>\n

Since we SOLD OUT of solar viewing glasses, bring yours and let’s Share a Pair!<\/p>\n

We’re excited to have the Catskills Astronomy Club<\/a><\/strong> join us with telescopes armed with solar filters.<\/p>\n
