This <strong>scenic 2.2-mile loop trail<\/strong> is inviting for beginners and pleasing to more experienced hikers. Our path will take us through a hemlock grotto with views across the pond, across a trail intersection strangely named Times Square, and along the edge of a woodland meadow. Trip leader: Lisa Lyons.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">WEAR<\/span> <\/strong>waterproof hiking boots and warm layers, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>BRING<\/strong><\/span> traction devices (microspikes, Stabilicers or Yaktrax) to tame the icy trail conditions.\u00a0 If you need to rent traction, we carry Microspikes and will have a <strong>special $5\/pair rental rate on Dec. 31<sup>st<\/sup><\/strong>. So come in and get &#8217;em on Dec. 31st so everyone comes to the trail ready to go! No pets this time.
