A Self-Guided Walk on Walnut Mountain<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walnut Mountain Park, Liberty, NY<\/p>\n\n\n\n

START at Walnut Mt. Park’s ballfield parking area<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stand at this kiosk <\/strong>and look for a big tree with a sign on it<\/strong> (slightly right<\/strong> of kiosk) in the distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s STOP #1 <\/strong>on your walk to the Walnut Mountain House foundation at the summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE ROUTE: Follow the carriage trail Mountain Overlook <\/strong>(MO) behind the pavilion to STOPS #2 and #3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Overlook, bear right onto carriage trail Mountain House <\/strong>(MH) to STOPS #4, #5, and #6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each stop has a laminated sign tied to a tree<\/strong> with red paracord<\/strong>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
