  • Saturday, Oct. 1, 11 AM: Hurleyville History Hike along the Milk Train Trail with Sullivan County Historian John Conway. The hike will follow the westbound section of the Milk Train Trail. Not sure which way is west? Stop by and we’ll point you there! Historical topics covered on the hike will include the impact of the railroad on the farms and resorts, the native American Lenape tribe, their language and their culture, the tanning industry, organized crime in the Catskills during the 1930s, and more.   • Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, 1:00-2:30 pm The public is invited to join the Loop de Loop Hike in Mongaup Pond State Park, in celebration of the 19th annual Catskills Lark in the Park. This woodland hike offers a 2.2-mile loop around scenic Frick Pond that is suitable for beginner hikers who are comfortable walking this distance. The experienced hike leader is Lisa Lyons of Morgan Outdoors.
