The winners of the 6th annual Five Fire Tower Passport incentive, sponsored by Morgan Outdoors, were drawn from over 300 entries for 3 Great PRIZES.
And the winners are:
Kathleen Way of Pok, NY – hiked to all 5 towers – and the winner of Nikon Trailblazer binoculars
Marcie Coeny (age 10) of NYC and Shandelee – hiked to 2 towers – and won Wigwam Socks
Roman Rzemieniecki (age 4) of Ellenville – hiked to 4 towers – and won a Klean Kanteen. The Fire Tower Passport committee decided his brothers and fellow hikers, Alek (11) and Kristian (9), earned Klean Kanteens too.
We are happy (and sad) to report ran out of badges and give our THANKS to the Watershed Post for contributing them.
THANKS also to the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference for creating map brochures for each of the five fire towers.
They are downloadable from their website.
Thanks to all who participated in this year’s Passport and to the corps of volunteers who care for and open them for our enjoyment!
