This week started off with snow on Monday and it’s flurrying in town today. But soon it will be mud season. So we wanted to share a great article on hiking during mud season. Happy Spring!

Saturday, April 6: Many Livingston Manor businesses are saluting the ceremonial Opening Day of Fishing Season tomorrow – with special sales, treats and frivolity. Morgan Outdoors will have a Selfie photo Station with Tina the Trout (she’s larger than life!), snacks, and a Sale. Get all the details here.

Sunday, April 7th at 1:00pm If you have dogs, garden, hike, do anything outdoors – ticks are a concern. So let’s get you informed! We’re hosting public health educator Jill Hubert-Simon for a terrific free program about how to reduce your risk of tick bites and Lyme Disease.
Bring your friends and kids but make sure to Reserve seats at 845 439 5507. All participants receive an “All About Ticks” activity book to engage children in tick safety. Great for adults too!

Saturday April 6, 9:30am: First Cast, with Congressman Antonio Delgado, at Wulff Run, near entrance to Catskill Fly Fishing Center, 1031 Old Rt. 17. Livingston Manor.
Mon. & Thurs. April 15 & 18, 1:30pm: We are hosting Spring Break guided family walks to interesting places in downtown Livingston Manor. Free but must register at Morgan Outdoors. Suitable for children ages 7 and up; parent must accompany. Interested adults also invited!
Sunday, May 5th, 1:00pm: Cinco de Mayo 5K Run/Walk A fundraiser for Livingston Manor Free Library. It starts on Main Street, Livingston Manor at 1:00pm. Register 12 pm. Registration forms HERE or at library, 92 Main Street, Livingston Manor.
