Folks 60+ are invited to join a Senior Stroll

Wednesday, February 12th at 2:00 pm

along the Bindy Bazaar Trail

at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, NY.

This group outing is the 8th in a monthly series aimed at engaging folks age 60 and up to come out and enjoy several beautiful beginner trails in Sullivan County. The trip leader is Lisa Lyons of Morgan Outdoors.

HIKE:  Approx 1.5 miles in length on level terrain. It will follow the new Bindy Bazaar Trail with a stop at the Woodstock monument. In 1969, The Bindy Bazaar Woods was a market, meeting place, and trail system used during the Woodstock festival. Today, the grounds have been restored to celebrate this aspect of festival history, creating a beautiful pathway for a walk back in time.

Participants should be able to walk 1.5 miles unassisted and have permission from their doctor if under medical care.

TRACTION:  Given the wintery trail conditions, participants are advised to wear traction devices on their boots. If trail conditions warrant snowshoes, Morgan Outdoors will provide them at no cost.

REGISTER and GET THE MEETING LOCATION: Call Morgan Outdoors (845) 439-5507 by 11:00 am Wednesday, February 12th or email to [email protected]. In the case of a winter weather advisory, the outing will be postponed.

SENIOR STROLLS OUTDOORS proudly participates in the Sullivan Club 180 Campaign. Created by Sullivan 180, the Sullivan Club 180 Campaign is an easy way for everyone to take charge of their own health by joining or creating their own Club 180.
