NEW YEAR’S DAY SNOWSHOE!

Thursday, Jan 1, 2026 1:00 – 2:30: Celebrate the New Year with a First Day Hike around Frick Pond near Livingston Manor, NY.

TRAIL: A scenic 2.2 mile trail inviting for beginners and more experienced hikers. Loops around Frick Pond, through a magical hemlock grotto and across an intersection named Times Square!

REGISTRATION required – group size is LIMITED to 18. We will have a special New Year’s toast after the hike! Hikers must be 18 years old to participate. The hike leader is Lisa Lyons of Morgan Outdoors.

TO REGISTER: Call Morgan Outdoors (845) 693-4181 by December 31st at 12 pm. We will confirm meeting location and trail conditions!

GEAR: Waterproof hiking boots recommended. Snowshoes or microspikes are required for traction. Bring your own or rent Kahtoola Microspikes (at special $5 rate) in sizes XS to XL. Call Morgan Outdoors with a credit card to reserve a pair 845 693 4181.

TRAIL CONDITIONS: We will check the day before and email an update to all registrants!

CANCELLATIONS: There will be a Wait List so registrants who need to Cancel please call Morgan Outdoors by 12 PM on Wednesday Dec. 31 so someone else can take their place.
