Morgan Outdoors is leading two events during the 23nd annual Catskills Lark in the Park. 

Both are beginner level yet enjoyable for ALL levels!

Wednesday, Oct. 7, 3:00 – 4:45 PM, leave work early and join our scenic Loop de Loop Hike around Frick Pond in Mongaup Pond State Park, Livingston Manor. This 2.2-mile loop around Frick Pond offers reflections of changing colors in the pond and a soothing hemlock grotto! Take a mental health break to inhale the Catskills autumn beauty and exhale your worries.

Friday Oct. 9, 5:30 – 6:30 pm: The THIRD DIMENSION – Topo Map Reading Basics Great for beginners. Indoors at Morgan Outdoors in Hurleyville. How can a 2-dimensional map show you 3 dimensions?!  It’s magic! Learn the basic elements of reading a topographic map and you’ll have a skill that’s super helpful when planning a hike. One lucky person will win a topographic map to take home! Only 5 seats to fill.
