Morgan Outdoors is leading two events during the 23nd annual Catskills Lark in the Park. 

Both are beginner level yet enjoyable for ALL levels!

Wednesday, Oct. 8, 4:00 – 5:30 PM, leave work early and join our scenic Loop de Loop Hike around Frick Pond in Mongaup Pond State Park, Livingston Manor. This 2.2-mile loop around Frick Pond is suitable for beginner hikers comfortable walking this distance. Reflections of changing colors in the pond will have you reaching for your camera!

Friday Oct. 10, 5:30 – 6:30 pm: The THIRD DIMENSION – Topo Map Reading Basics Great for beginners. Indoors at Morgan Outdoors in Hurleyville. How can a 2-dimensional map show you 3 dimensions?!  It’s magic! Learn the basic elements of reading a topographic map and you’ll have a skill that’s super helpful when planning a hike. One lucky person will win a topographic map to take home! Only 5 seats to fill.
